Are you going to Milan?

For almost a year and a half now, I have had the amazing honor of working with Russ Diamond and his team at Snyder Diamond on developing a series of VIP experiences and special events around Salone del Mobile and Milan Design Week.  I have been thinking a lot about why this trip is important and why I have been so passionate about it.

I have tremendous respect for the work that you all do and the creative energy it takes.  I have been working in design on the brand side for over 17 years now, and it has always been a goal of mine to help refill your creative well, to create surprising and memorable moments so that you as architects and interior designers can do your best work.

Salone has become the most important and largest design fair in the world.  And listen, I have gone to trade shows all over the world from China to Miami, and I have never experienced a fair as large, as high quality, or as memorable as this.

Our goal in putting this trip together is to make navigating Milan manageable, to create a sense of community while we are traveling together, and to provide you with memorable moments that will serve as your creative fuel for the year.

Ok, now for some practical advice based on our experience last year.  The dates of the fair, as you can see on the signage here, are April 9-14th.  Our Public programming starts on April 8th. There is so much to do and see you are going to want to feel at your best to take it all in.  So if jet lag is an issue for you, arrive a day or two before. Believe me, it will be worth it.

The city itself becomes an extension of the fair with installations around the city, and let me just tell you, one day at Salone is not enough.  It is also impossible to see and do everything, and we are here to help you get the most out of you trip.

Curious about what we have planned?
