Uncover what you truly want for your business

Creating Real, Sustainable Growth.

I believe in the power of standing out by integrating who we are into the work we do, and in order to do that we need to have awareness around who we are, what matters most to us, and what motivates us to do the work we do.

We need to be clear about our vision for the future, the impact that we want to make, our goals, and our values.

Without this knowing and without this clarity, no marketing strategy, PR campaign, or strategic partnership will result in real sustainable growth.  We need a target to focus on, a map to show us the way, ensuring that the decisions we make on a daily basis are getting us closer to who we are as a brand rather than taking us further away.

So how do we uncover what we truly want for our businesses? It takes time and it’s time that many of us as small business owners rarely take. If the future of our businesses, our level of fulfillment, and level of success we experience is dependent on taking that time, what is not taking it really costing us?

I would venture to say EVERYTHING

It’s costing us our ability to tap into our gifts and natural talents, it’s costing us the ability to step into our fullest potential, and it’s costing us the ability to see the opportunities that are all around us.

So instead we work run by our clients, our problems, and by our list of things to do.  Our businesses leads us, rather than it being us who takes the reins to lead it, our teams, and ourselves.  This is not what I want for in 2020. I want you to understand the kind of leader that you are today as well as the kind of leader you want to be.

Are you ready to take the reins?

Book of the month:

The Soul of Money
by Lynne Twist

Author Lynne Twist speaks about money, scarcity, and sufficiency in a way that I never heard before. It’s not only changing the way I think about money, but it’s making me take a hard look at how I spend it and what that spending says about who I am and what I stand for.

Key takeaways:

Money is like water. It can be a conduit for commitment, a currency of love.
Money moving in the direction of our highest commitments nourishes our world and ourselves.
What you appreciate, appreciates.
When you make a difference with what you have, it expands.
Collaboration creates prosperity.
True abundance flows from enough, never from more.
Money carries our intention. If we use it with integrity, then it carries integrity forward.
Know the flow - take responsibility for the way your money moves in the world.
Let your soul inform your money and your money express your soul.
Access your assets - not only your money but also your our character and capabilities, your relationships and other non money recourses.
